The Bible teaches that on the last day, all people must give an account of their lives before God. But the Gospel teaches that all our sins are forgiven in Christ. We will try to understand the meaning of Paul's statement in 2 Corinthians 5:10 "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad" in light of the Bible's teaching about forgiveness.

Lord's Day 6 of the Heidelberg Catechism tells us that the way we learn of our need for salvation, and God's provision for it, is through the "Holy Gospel". What does that mean? We will study 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 to find out.

Lord's Day 7 declares that salvation is found exclusively in and through Jesus Christ. Since death came through one man, Adam, so life comes through one man, Jesus Christ.
