AM > Trophies of Grace

Published on Sun 18th Apr 2010

The Bible teaches that on the last day, all people must give an account of their lives before God. But the Gospel teaches that all our sins are forgiven in Christ. We will try to understand the meaning of Paul's statement in 2 Corinthians 5:10 "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad" in light of the Bible's teaching about forgiveness.

AM > Anatomy of a Confession

Given our natural inclination to avoid confession and repentance at all costs, it should come as no surprise that a lot of people, Christians included, are not very good at it. We will study Psalm 32 one more time to understand the anatomy of true confession.

PM > Goal of the Gospel

In our final look at Q & A #1, we will focus our attention on the phrase, "[the Holy Spirit] makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him." What is the goal of the gospel? That we would make much of God, not that he would make much of us.
