Tonight we bridge from our last series on objections to the Christian faith to the next series on the cross of Christ. People often ask, "Why was the crucifixion necessary? Can't God just forgive? Why did Jesus have to die? It seems cruel." We'll address this objection as we consider 2 Corinthians 5:16-21.
