In this scripture passage, Jesus shows how incompatible the Christian faith is to having an unforgiving spirit. He ends his story with these chilling words: "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart." What is the consequence of "un-forgiveness"? This week we will celebrate the graduation of grade 6 students from our Sunday School program. Gospel education is an important part of our church's ministry, and as we study Romans 1:16-17, we will learn one reason why it is so important that we continue to work hard at raising our children to understand and embrace the gospel.
