This week we will celebrate the graduation of grade 6 students from our Sunday School program. Gospel education is an important part of our church's ministry, and as we study Romans 1:16-17, we will learn one reason why it is so important that we continue to work hard at raising our children to understand and embrace the gospel.

Given our natural inclination to avoid confession and repentance at all costs, it should come as no surprise that a lot of people, Christians included, are not very good at it. We will study Psalm 32 one more time to understand the anatomy of true confession.

In our final look at Q & A #1, we will focus our attention on the phrase, "[the Holy Spirit] makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him." What is the goal of the gospel? That we would make much of God, not that he would make much of us.

To be a Christian necessarily means to be forgiven our sins. Why then must we continue to confess our sin to God? After all, aren't we forgiven "once for all?" The answer can be found in one of the great confessions of sin in all of world literature: Psalm 51.
