Tonight will be the first of several considerations of Acts 17:16-34 -- Paul's famous visit to Athens and Mars Hill. We will try to discern principles of cultural engagement and evangelism that Paul demonstrates in order to be better equipped to engage our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lord's Day 6 of the Heidelberg Catechism tells us that the way we learn of our need for salvation, and God's provision for it, is through the "Holy Gospel". What does that mean? We will study 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 to find out.

Lord's Day 7 declares that salvation is found exclusively in and through Jesus Christ. Since death came through one man, Adam, so life comes through one man, Jesus Christ.
