Psychologist Scott Peck famously wrote in his book, People of the Lie: "Wherever there is evil, there's a lie around. Evil always has something to do with lies." These words capture much of the Bible's teaching on lying, which we will study as we consider the 9th commandment.

Lord's Day 6 of the Heidelberg Catechism tells us that the way we learn of our need for salvation, and God's provision for it, is through the "Holy Gospel". What does that mean? We will study 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 to find out.

Lord's Day 7 declares that salvation is found exclusively in and through Jesus Christ. Since death came through one man, Adam, so life comes through one man, Jesus Christ.
