Christian community, whether it be in the home or in the church, should be characterized by confession and forgiveness. Christians should be quick to confess their sin and quick to forgive sins committed against them. Unfortunately, Christians are not always very good at practicing confession and forgiveness. Beginning this week, we will conduct an extended study of this practice, starting with unpacking the familiar words of Psalm 32:1-2, "Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit there is no deceit."
