A Reasonable Faith
(8 items, showing earliest first)

Sun 11th Oct 2009

PM > Can One Religion Be True For All?

Vanden Brink, Paul | Published on Sun 25th Oct 2009

One of the most common objections to the Christian faith is its exclusive claim to truth which leads to discrimination, marginalization, and even oppression of those who don't share our beliefs. PM > Why The Cross?

By Vanden Brink, Paul
Tonight we bridge from our last series on objections to the Christian faith to the next series on the cross of Christ.  People often ask, "Why was the crucifixion necessary? Can't God just forgive? Why did Jesus have to die? It seems cruel." We'll address this objection as we consider 2 Corinthians 5:16-21.
